Vehicle Handover

On the first day of your trip, we’ll be with you every step of the way. Our team will meet you at your preferred pick up location. We’ll give you an hour overview of everything in our vehicles you can use for your adventure. Then we’ll send you on your way!

Adventuring into BC’s backcountry is a new experience for many! That’s why we’ll be here every step of the way. We’re a phone call away for anything you need during your trip. For worst-case scenarios out of cell range, we have an emergency GPS service to stay connected to you.

For the 2024, we’re thrilled to be able to offer more flexible booking options to our customers. We’ve reduced our deposit amount to 25%. If weather or other circumstances disrupt your holiday, you can exchange your booking amount for a future travel credit anytime.

Can I take the vehicle off-road?2024-01-31T18:02:54-05:00

Unlike most rental car, RV, or van rental agencies, FarOutWilderness allows you to take your rental truck onto dirt/gravel roads, logging roads, or any other unpaved roads! This opens up tons of new options for your BC adventure

 

Is the vehicle insured?2023-07-13T20:41:01-04:00

All vehicles come with ICBC Commercial Renters Auto Insurance. This policy includes $5,000,000 third party liability, comprehensive insurance for fire, theft, vandalism and windshield at a deductible of $500 and collision insurance at a deductible of $1,000.

Driving in British Columbia requires a valid driver’s license If you are a visitor, you can drive in BC for up to six months with a valid driver’s licence from your country. If you have an International Driving Permit, you must also carry the accompanying foreign licence.

Check-in time can be anytime between 9:30AM to 5:00PM! We’ll be in touch to coordinate after you arrange your booking!

Are there flexible payment options?2024-03-25T18:39:00-04:00

A 25% deposit is required at booking, and the full balance must be paid 7 days prior to travel. If weather or other unexpected circumstances interrupt your trip, your booking amount for a future travel credit. Booking terms and conditions.
